At Retro Digital Cameras, we specialise in quality pre-owned digital cameras. Each item is individually tested before being listed and again before dispatch. Please review our Returns & Refunds Policy below before completing your purchase.

As all items are thoroughly tested, inspected, and accurately described before dispatch, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact our Customer Support Team before returning the item. Any return request will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be authorised in writing before being sent back.

Items returned without prior authorisation from our customer support team will not be processed.

  • Condition of Returned Items: If a return is authorised, the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, including all accessories, batteries, chargers, memory cards, manuals, and original packaging (where applicable). We reserve the right to refuse or reduce a refund if the item has been damaged, altered, or is missing components.
  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Non-refundable items: Shipping fees and any custom fees associated with the dispatch of your item is non-refundable.

 

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact Customer Support: Email us at Sales@retrodigitalcameras.com  within 48 hours of receiving your order if there are any discrepancies, or within 30 days for general returns.
  2. Approval Process: Once your return is approved, our team will provide you with detailed return instructions.
  3. Return Shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs. All returns must be sent using tracked postage to ensure traceability. Retro Digital Cameras is not liable for lost or undelivered packages.
  4. Return Slip: Include a return slip inside your parcel, with your order number and reason for the return. Failure to include the return slip may result in delays or a rejected refund.

Bundle Deals & Free Items

If you purchased a bundle deal that included a free item, this item must also be returned along with the rest of the bundle. The "free" item is only free if the entire bundle is kept. If you do not return the free item, we will deduct the full retail value of the free item from your refund.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:

  • Products that have been opened or used may be eligible for partial refunds at our discretion.
  • Returns received after 30 days from delivery may not be eligible for a refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you received a defective product, please contact us at sales@retrodigitalcameras.com with your order number and a photo of the product.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, and returns must be sent using tracked postage for full traceability. Retro Digital Cameras is not responsible for lost or undelivered packages. Shipping costs and protection services are non-refundable.

Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, a refund (minus any applicable fees) will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.

If you do not receive your refund after the confirmation email, please check with your bank and credit card company, as processing times may vary.

Lost or Missing Packages

Retro Digital Cameras is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If tracking shows the package was delivered, we cannot offer refunds or replacements. Please contact your courier for assistance.

Cancelling or Amending Orders

Due to our rapid processing, we cannot cancel or amend orders once placed. For weekend or holiday orders, you may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing the order.
