Refund policy

To Qualify for a Return:
All returns must be pre-approved by our Customer Support Team. Items returned without prior approval will not be processed.

Eligibility
•    Items must be unused, unworn, in original packaging, and in resealable condition
•    You must request a return within 7 days of the delivery date (as confirmed by the shipping carrier’s tracking)
•    Electronics must be returned in their original condition. Items that have been taken apart, modified, or altered in any way — including hardware disassembly or software changes — are not eligible for return or refund.
•    We do not cover return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.
•    If your item is damaged or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery and include clear photos of the issue.
•    Please note that refunds cannot be issued based on subjective factors such as perceived image quality or personal aesthetic preference. We display sample images on the product page to accurately represent quality, and we encourage all customers to review these before making a purchase
 
Restocking Fee
•     A  20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

Non-refundable items
•    Shipping fees, sales tax and import duties costs.
•    Sale items: Only full-priced items are eligible for refunds.

How to Initiate a Return
•    Contact Customer Support: Email us at sales@retrodigitalcameras.com within 48 hours of receiving your order if there are any discrepancies, or within 30 days for general returns.
•    Approval Process: Once your return is approved, our team will provide you with detailed return instructions.
•    Return Shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs. All returns must be sent using tracked postage to ensure traceability. Retro Digital Cameras is not liable for lost or undelivered packages.
•    Return Slip: Include a return slip inside your parcel, with your order number and reason for the return. Failure to include the return slip may result in delays or a rejected refund.
 
Bundle Deals & Free Items
•    If you purchased a bundle deal that included a free item, this item must also be returned along with the rest of the bundle. The "free" item is only free if the entire bundle is kept. If you do not return the free item, we will deduct the full retail value of the free item from your refund.
 
Partial Refunds (If Applicable)
•    Products that have been opened or used may be eligible for partial refunds at our discretion.
•    Returns received after 30 days from delivery will not be eligible for a refund.
 
Exchanges
•    We only replace items that are defective or damaged. If you received a defective product, please contact us at sales@retrodigitalcameras.com with your order number and a photo of the product.

Return Shipping Costs
•    Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs, and returns must be sent using tracked postage for full traceability. Retro Digital Cameras is not responsible for lost or undelivered packages. Shipping costs and protection services are non-refundable.

Refund Process
•    Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, a refund (minus any applicable fees) will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days.
•    If you do not receive your refund after the confirmation email, please check with your bank and credit card company, as processing times may vary.

Lost or Missing Packages
•    Retro Digital Cameras is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If tracking shows the package was delivered, we cannot offer refunds or replacements. Please contact your courier for assistance.

Cancelling or Amending Orders
•    Due to our automated processing workflow, we are unable to cancel or amend orders once placed.
